UCF (15-7, 7-2 The American) held Cincinnati (13-9, 5-4 The American) to six points in the first two quarters and took a 25-12 lead into the locker rooms. Masseny Kaba and Zakiya Saunders led UCF with 14 points each. Kaba added a game-high 18 rebounds to collect her first collegiate double-double. Saunders and Nyala Shuler collected four and three steals, respectively. The Knights limited Cincinnati to a season-low 38 points, held a 45-32 advantage on the glass and forced the Bearcats into 19 turnovers.
Shanice Johnson led Cincinnati in scoring with 14 points in the contest of 4-of-9 shooting from the floor.
ECU 77, Wichita State 67
ECU (12-10, 4-5 The American) erased an 11-point fourth quarter deficit to come back and defeat Wichita State (10-13, 5-4 The American), 77-67, Tuesday night in Minges Coliseum. Lashonda Monk led the Pirates with 19 points and seven assists. Mickayla Sanders added 13, Alex Frazier and Thais Oliveira added 12 apiece and Salita Green scored 10 points to round out ECU's scoring leaders.
A trio of Shockers scored in double figures. Rangie Bessard led all players with 22 points, her second straight 20-point outing. She also grabbed seven rebounds and dished out four assists on the night. Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage recorded her first double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Keke Thompson finished with 11 points in the contest.
