UConn 2, Houston 1 (OT)
UConn collected its first American Athletic Conference victory of the season with a 2-1 overtime victory against Houston. Junior Yamilee Eveillard provided a pair of goals for UConn including the game-winner at 93:36 in the first overtime.
Eveillard scored her first of the match in the 50th minute, heading in off of a corner. Desiree Bowen scored in the 15th minute to give the Cougars the lead.
ECU 3, Tulsa 0
ECU improved to 2-1-0 in conference play (5-6-1 overall) with a 3-0 win over Tulsa. The Pirates led in shots, 19-10, and corners, 6-2. The Golden Hurricane fell to 8-7-0 and 2-3-0 in league play.
Tori Riggs opened the scoring for the Pirates right out of the gate in the second half in the 47th minute. After an own goal in the 69th minute, Grace Doran tallied in the 72nd minute close out the scoring.
Memphis 3, Cincinnati 0
Memphis handed Cincinnati its first league loss of the season, defeating the Bearcats, 3-0. The Tigers improved to 13-1-0 on the season and 5-0-0 in The American, while the Bearcats are now 4-6-2 overall (2-1 American).
Samantha Murphy recorded a brace with goals in the 25th and 51st minutes, while Clarissa Larisey closed the scoring in the 59th minute. Stasia Mallin assisted on the last two goals and now has a league-leading 11 assists.
SMU 1, Temple 0
SMU won its first American match of the season with a 1-0 win at Temple. The Mustangs improved to 8-3-1 on the season (1-2-1 American), while the Owls fell to 3-8-3 overall and 1-4-1 in league play.
The Mustangs led in shots, 22-7, and corners, 14-0. The lone goal came in the 78th minute when Allie Thornton converted a penalty kick.
