Temple 2, Houston 0
A brace from Hailey Gutowski enabled Temple to take down Houston, 2-0. With the win, Temple improved to 4-8-3 on the season and 2-4-0 in American play. The Cougars fell to 3-11-0 on the season (0-4-0 American).
After a scoreless first 70 minutes, Gutowski scored off a pass from Gabriela Johnson before doubling the lead in the seven minutes later with Morgan Morocco earning the assist. Morgan Basileo recorded four saves in the shutout win.
UConn 1, SMU 0
UConn picked up its second win of the week with a 1-0 victory over SMU. The Huskies improved to 6-7-1 on the season and move to 2-4-0 in conference play, while the Mustangs dropped to 8-4-1 overall and 1-3-0 in league action.
Off a pass from Kess Elmore, Cara Jordan broke the deadlock in the 78th minute to earn the win for the Huskies. Randi Palacios earned the shutout win after making six saves.
ECU 1, Memphis 1 (2OT)
ECU picked up a point against league-leading Memphis, earning a 1-1 draw to end the Tigers' perfect start to conference play. Memphis is now 13-1-1 on the season and 5-0-1 in league action, while the Pirates moved to 5-6-2 overall and 2-1-1 in American play.
After Memphis led in shots in the first half, 12-1, the Pirates took the lead on a goal by Tori Riggs in the 68th minute, but less than a minute later, the Tigers tied the game when Clarissa Larisey fed Claire Abrey.
Cincinnati 4, Tulsa 2
Cincinnati used three first-half goals on the way to a 4-2 win over Tulsa. Han Tang scored a brace by the 19th minute to open the scoring for the Bearcats (5-6-2, 3-1-0 American) and Camryn Hartman made it 3-0 in the 29th minute.
Two goals by Valiree Morris for Tulsa (8-8-0, 2-4-0) sandwiched the fourth Bearcat goal scored by Libby Greenwell.
