Cincinnati 3, SMU 0 (25-21, 26-24, 25-23)
 
Cincinnati (17-5, 9-1) earned its third straight victory in conference play by stopping red-hot SMU (14-6, 7-3), sweeping the Mustangs in straight sets. The Bearcats claimed a 25-21, 26-24, 25-23 decision.
 
Jordan Thompson hit a brilliant .471 with 28 kills and eight digs to lead Cincinnati, while Maria Mallon added nine kills and eight digs. Armania Heckenmueller registered 43 assists and 10 digs in the win for the Bearcats.
 
Hannah Jacobs paced SMU with 12 kills in the setback, and Jadyn Bauss contributed 10 kills and eight digs. Lily Heim registered 36 assists for the Mustangs in the match.
 
UCF 3, Tulane 1 (25-19, 25-20, 18-25, 25-17)
 
UCF (16-6, 9-1) remained on a roll with its seventh straight triumph by way of a sweep of Tulane (16-7, 6-4) on Sunday in Orlando. The Knights emerged with a 25-19, 25-20, 18-25, 25-17 win in four sets in a match that aired on ADN.
 
Alli Sabol hit an impressive .556 to go along with 11 kills and four blocks for UCF, as Makenzie Kuchmaner registered a match-high 22 digs. Erin Olson (28 assists) and Amber Olson (22 assists) both logged 20-plus assist outings in the victory for the Knights.
 
Lauryn Green’s 11 kills and six block assists paved the way for Tulane, and Kaylie McHugh led the Green Wave with 17 digs. Amanda Giardina narrowly missed a double-double with 22 assists and nine digs.
 
Houston 3, USF 2 (22-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 16-14)
 
In yet another five-set comeback, Houston (14-11, 8-2) remained atop the West Division of The American after outlasting USF (7-17, 1-9) in Tampa, Florida. The Cougars won a competitive contest by way of a 22-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 16-14 final.
 
Megan Duncan led the way for Houston with 18 kills and nine digs, while Abby Irvine posted 51 assists and 17 digs in the win. Katie Karbo led the Cougars with 20 digs on just one reception error.
 
Jac St. Cin hit .526 to lead USF with 22 kills, and Jac’cara Walker contributed 21 kills and seven digs. Jordan Valley led all players in the match with 23 digs.
 
Memphis 3, East Carolina 2 (17-25, 25-15, 25-17, 19-25, 15-13)
 
Memphis (14-8, 3-7) withstood a late charge from East Carolina (15-8, 3-7) to down the Pirates in five sets on Sunday, 17-25, 25-15, 25-17, 19-25, 15-13.
 
Hannah Flowers hit a blistering .472 to guide Memphis with 21 kills, and Meredith Wallace chipped in 17 kills and seven digs. Kaitlyn Gehler and Gigi Crescenzo led the Tigers with 17 digs apiece, and Sabrina Bianco logged a double-double with 46 assists and 12 digs.
 
Bri Wood finished the day with 17 kills and 14 digs for ECU, while Brandee Markwith contributed a match-high 19 digs. Marissa Harmon secured a double-double with 21 assists and 10 digs for the Pirates.
 
UConn 3, Tulsa 1 (20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-11)
 
UConn (9-13, 3-7) won the final three sets to claim a home upset over Tulsa (13-10, 6-4) on Sunday by way of a 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-11 final score.
 
Caylee Parker posted 15 kills and 16 digs in the win for UConn, and Courtney Morris finished with 38 assists and 14 digs in the Huskie triumph. Mia Ruffolo led all UConn players with 17 digs.
 
Dilara Gedikoglu notched a double-double of 19 kills and 17 digs for Tulsa, while Taylor Horsfall racked up a match-high 22 digs. Roosa Rautio added 21 assists and 11 digs for the Golden Hurricane.
 
Temple 3, Wichita State 0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-23)
 
Temple (11-10, 2-8) picked up its second conference win of the season with a convincing sweep of Wichita State (6-16, 3-7) in Philadelphia, 25-19, 25-13, 25-23.
 
Peyton Boyd hit .565 with 15 kills and six digs to lead Temple, while Miray Bolukbasi recorded 13 kills and five digs. Tyler Lindgren’s 33 assists set the pace for the Owls.
 
Sophia Rolling finished with a team-high 13 kills for Wichita State, and Kayce Litzau turned in 24 assists, three digs and three blocks.
