USF 3, Houston 1
Evelyne Viens scored two goals and provided an assist for five points in USF's 3-1 win over Houston. With five points, Viens broke The American's all-time record for points with 141, breaking the previous record of 140 by Rachel Hill, who played for UConn from 2013-16. Viens has 59 goals, which ranks second behind Hill, and 23 assists, which is tied for fourth all-time in The American with Kaitlyn Atkins (Memphis, 2013-14) and one behind USF teammate Andrea Hauksdottir.
Viens scored in the 10th and 28th minutes and assisted on Sabrina Wagner's 39th minute tally. Mia Brascia scored in the 62nd minute for the Cougars.
Tulsa 1, Temple 0
Emilie Torres scored the lone goal of the contest to give Tulsa a 1-0 win over Temple. The Golden Hurricane moved to 7-6 on the season and 1-2 in conference play, while the Owls fell to 3-6-3 overall and 1-2 in the league.
Torres headed the ball into the lower left corner of the net off a cross from Ashlan Hustava at the 16:30 mark for the only goal of the contest. The Golden Hurricane had a 15-14 edge in shots, including a 7-6 lead in shots on goal, and a 9-2 advantage in corner kicks.
UCF 2, SMU 1
UCF went on the road and defeated SMU, 2-1, to improve to 2-1-0 in conference play (7-2-2 overall). The Mustangs fell in their first conference match of the season and to 7-2-1 overall.
Kristen Scott opened the scoring with a goal in the 14th minute for UCF. After Jewel Boland tallied in the 53rd minute, UCF's Zandy Soree converted a pentaly a minute later for the game winner.
Memphis 5, UConn 0
Memphis collected its ninth consecutive win and third league victory after taking a 5-0 decision against UConn. The Tigers improved to 11-1-0 (3-0-0 American), while the Huskies fell to 4-6-1 (0-3-0)
Allie Rathbun etched her first career brace. The Tigers also found goals from Clarissa Larisey, Tanya Boychuk and Clarie Abrey. Stasis Mallin added a pair of helpers, increasing her season output to a career-high nine assists. In net, Elizabeth Moberg registered her sixth clean sheet of the season behind four saves.
