Cincinnati 3, UCF 1 (25-22, 23-25, 25-14, 25-21)
 
Cincinnati (22-5, 13-1) emerged with the top record in the American Athletic Conference following a Sunday showdown at UCF (19-7, 12-2), claiming its eighth straight win overall by downing the Knights 25-22, 23-25, 25-14, 25-21 in Orlando, Florida. The victory moved Cincinnati in sole possession of the East Division lead in The American and on track for the top seed at the inaugural American Volleyball Championship set for Nov. 22-24 in Orlando.
 
Maria Mallon powered Cincinnati with 21 kills and 12 digs, and Jordan Thompson added 19 kills, four service aces and 14 digs in the win. Adria Oliver contributed 11 kills and swung at a .529 clip, while Armania Heckenmueller dropped a match-high 56 assists to go along with nine digs.
 
McKenna Melville led the way for UCF with 20 kills and 14 digs, and Kristina Fisher hit at a .424 mark with 15 kills and eight digs. Nerissa Moravec had a hand in nine of the 15 blocks during the match for the Knights.
 
SMU 3, Tulsa 1 (25-20, 25-16, 23-25, 25-22)
 
SMU (17-7, 10-4) vaulted into the top spot in the West Division of The American following a second win on the weekend, taking a four-set decision at Tulsa (15-12, 8-6) by way of a 25-20, 25-16, 23-25, 25-22 final.
 
Hannah Jacobs guided SMU with a match-high 17 kills, while Rachel Woulfe turned in 16 kills, four blocks and three digs. Montana Watts logged a team-high 26 digs in the victory, and Lily Helm chipped in 50 assists and 15 digs for the Mustangs.
 
Taylor Horsfall posted her second 30-dig showing of the weekend, pacing all players with 33 digs in the Tulsa defeat. Dilara Gedikoglu posted a double-double that included 14 kills and 14 digs, and Callie Cook turned in 11 kills and six blocks for the Golden Hurricane.
 
Tulane 3, Temple 1 (25-16, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23)
 
Tulane (19-8, 9-5) moved into a tie for second in the West Division by way of a Senior Day victory in four sets over Temple (11-14, 2-12), downing the Owls 25-16, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23.
 
Kaylie McHugh (24) and Makala Heidelberg (22) both eclipsed the 20-dig plateau for Tulane in the win, and Lexie Douglas added a team-high 14 kills. Kayla Dinkins registered 10 kills and five total blocks for the Green Wave.
 
Peyton Boyd turned in a solid performance that featured a team-high 12 kills and 22 digs for Temple, while Averi Salvador added 20 digs and five assists for the Owls. Selina Merfol registered 33 assists and eight digs in the setback.
 
UConn 3, Houston 2 (25-23, 25-23, 15-25, 17-25, 15-12)
 
UConn (11-15, 5-9) knocked Houston (15-14, 9-5) from the top of the West Division with a big 25-23, 25-23, 15-25, 17-25, 15-12 conference upset on the road.
 
Jasmine Davis enjoyed a career-high 22 kills and 18 digs to lead UConn in the win, and Anna Petrova turned in 18 kills and 10 digs. Kennadi Jake-Turner found the stat sheet with 14 kills and four blocks for the Huskies.
 
Isabel Theut hit .448 with a team-high 14 kills for Houston, as Katie Karbo logged a match-high 27 digs in defeat. Claire Karsten fashioned a Cougar double-double with 12 kills and 14 digs.
 
East Carolina 3, USF 1 (25-20, 25-23, 13-25, 25-19)
 
East Carolina (19-9, 6-8) claimed a road victory of its own on Sunday at USF (7-21, 1-13), racing past the Bulls 25-20, 25-23, 13-25, 25-19 in Tampa, Florida.
 
Bri Wood hit an even .500 with 17 kills and 18 digs as part of an impressive showing for ECU, while Brandee Markwith posted a team-high 20 digs. Natalie Tyson recorded 13 kills in the win for the Pirates.
 
CC Clausen led the way for USF with a match-high 23 digs, and Lindsey Pliapol led all player with 19 kills. Jac’cara Walker capped a double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs for the Bulls.
 
Memphis 3, Wichita State 2 (23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 19-25, 16-14)
 
Memphis (16-10, 5-9) picked up a five-set victory in its final road tilt of the season, dropped Wichita State (7-19, 4-10) 23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 19-25, 16-14).
 
Hannah Flowers finished with a team-high 19 kills and chipped in three aces and seven digs for Memphis, as Kaitlyn Gehler led all players with 30 digs. Sabrina Bianco finished the win with 51 assists and 19 digs for the Tigers.
 
Megan Taflinger’s 17 kills and nine digs were crucial in the performance for Wichita State, and Kara Bown logged a team-high 23 digs. Sophia Rohling added eight kills and five blocks for the Shockers.
