PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors for the 11th week of the 2019 college football season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tyler Snead • ECU • So. • WR • Raleigh, N.C.
Snead finished with 19 receptions — the most by an FBS player in a game this season — for 240 yards and three touchdowns in ECU’s 59-51 loss at No. 23 SMU. Snead’s receptions total ranks second on The American’s single-game chart, behind only former ECU standout Zay Jones, who had 22 against South Carolina in 2016. The 240 yards rank sixth in conference history. Snead had touchdown receptions of 36, 47 and 57 yards against the Mustangs.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Reggie Robinson II • Tulsa • Sr. • CB • Cleburne, Texas
Robinson led a Tulsa defense that held UCF without a second-half touchdown, allowing the Golden Hurricane to rally for a 34-31 win. Robinson had five solo tackles to go with three pass breakups and a key interception which set up the game-winning field goal.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Thomas Bennett • Tulsa • Sr. • P • Carlsbad, Calif.
Bennett averaged 46.3 yards on six punts, with a long of 62 yards, in Tulsa’s 34-31 win against UCF. None of the six punts were returned, while Bennett put three of his punts inside the UCF 20-yard line.

Had a team-high 11 tackles with a pass breakup in a 48-3 win against UConn, leading a defense that held the Huskies to 218 total yards.

Completed 33 of 46 passes for 414 yards and five touchdowns in a 59-51 win against ECU.

Rushed for 157 yards and three touchdowns in a 59-51 win against ECU.
