PROVIDENCE, R.I.—The NCAA announced its field for the 2019 Women’s Soccer Championship and Memphis and USF will be the two squads representing the American Athletic Conference for the second year in a row. First round matches are set for Friday, Nov. 15.
The American tournament champion Bulls (14-4-0) will travel to in-state rival Florida (11-8-1) in Gainesville, Fla., on Friday at 7 p.m. USF is making its sixth NCAA appearance and fifth trip in the last six seasons.
The Tigers (17-2-1), who were The American’s regular season champions, will head to Pullman, Wash., to take on Washington State (12-6-1) with a kick-off of 8 p.m. Eastern. Memphis is making its eighth NCAA appearance.
NCAA Second and Third rounds continue the following weekend on Nov. 22 and Nov. 24, respectively. The quarterfinals will take place Nov. 29 or 30. The Women’s College Cup will then be hosted by Avaya Stadium in San Jose, Calif., on Dec. 6 (semifinals) and Dec. 8 (championship game).
