UCF 12, No. 5 Florida 9
After defeating then-No. 18 Auburn last Saturday, UCF scored three runs in the ninth to hand the No. 5 Gators a 13-10 loss. Tied at 9-9, UCF capitalized on Florida’s mistakes, tallying late runs on two hits, a wild pitch and a throwing error to clinch its statement win. The Gators recorded four errors in the game. The Knights led 14-9 in hits, as Tyler Osik, Griffin Bernardo and Brandon Hernandez each had multi-hit showings. The three Knights combined for eight hits, seven runs and three RBIs. Nine UCF batters registered a base knock with five hits going for extra bases.
The Knights have now come out on top in its past four games against Florida. The Black and Gold swept the then-No. 1 Gators on back-to-back nights in 2018. UCF returns to John Euliano Park to face Jacksonville in a three-game series this weekend.

ECU scored four runs through the first two innings and refused to look back from there. Starter Gavin Williams struck out six through 5.0 innings, scattering two runs on four hits on the way to earning his first-career win. Three different Pirates drove in a run. ECU will return to action on Friday, March 1, when it plays host to the 16th Annual LeClair Classic, welcoming in Utah, Wright State and Western Carolina.
No. 13 Arkansas 10, Memphis 3
In its first road game of the season, a seven-run fifth inning was too much to overcome as Memphis baseball dropped a 10-3 outing at No. 13 Arkansas. Memphis held a 2-1 lead through the first four innings before the Razorbacks began their rally with seven-consecutive batters getting on base. At the dish for the Tigers, senior Jason Santana went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two extra base hits, including his first home run of the season.
