Highlights
 
-Cincinnati raced to a team win in the women’s 5K at the 29th Friendship Invitational on Saturday in Cedarville, Ohio. The Bearcats outlasted 12 teams for the overall victory to claim the Friendship Invitational for the first time. Hannah Markel picked up her first career individual win with a time of 17:32.50, and teammate Ellie Leather was immediately behind at the runner-up with a time of 17:38.10.
 
-Houston claimed a team victory on the women’s side while taking fourth place in the men’s race at the 44th Annual Rice Invitational on Friday in Houston, Texas. Meredith Sorensen placed third individually with a time of 13:57.89 to pace the Cougars in the win, and Jahnavi Schneider added a fourth-place result with a PR of 13:59.47. Darby Gauntt rounded out the top five in fifth place after crossing the finish line in 14:04.44. Devin Vallejo-Bannister paced the Houston men with a seventh-place result in 20:02.99.
 
-East Carolina won the women’s 6K at the Navy Invitational in Annapolis, Maryland on Saturday, with the Pirate men earning a team runner-up result in the 8K event. Nuria Tillo-Prats ran the top time in the women’s race with a time of 22:21.10, while Laura Green finished second in 22:38.44. Abby Yourkavitch was third after clocking a time of 22:44.69 and Jenna Strange rounded out the top four for ECU with a time of 22:55.60. On the men’s side, Joshua Spare finished in fifth place with a time of 25:30.78 to lead ECU. Chase Osborne took seventh (25:46.77) and Ethan Hagman eighth (25:48.63) for the Pirates.
 
-UCF was the top American Athletic Conference finisher at the Mountain Dew Invitational in Gainesville, Florida on Saturday, claiming eighth place out of 35 teams. Jamie Tomassetti led the Knights in 13th place with a 5K time of 18:42.50. Kaitlyn Soltis was 17th with a PR time of 18:51.90.
 
-Alexandra Weir secured sixth place in the women’s 5K to pace USF in a 14th-place finish at the Mountain Dew Invitational on Saturday. Weir crossed the finish line with a time of 18:17.50 to earn the event top 10. The Bulls took ninth place in the men’s 8K race on the strength of a 30th-place result for Alec Latzke (26:45.02).
 
-SMU raced to a fourth-place finish in the women’s 5K at the A&M Invite on Friday in College Station, Texas. Charlotte Murphy guided the Mustangs with a time of 19:15.50 to take 17th place, and Maddie Hulcy was 20th with a time of 19:25.30.
