Tulsa 3, Oklahoma Baptist 2
Three Tulsa players scored a goal to give the Golden Hurricane a 3-2 win over Oklahoma Baptist on Tuesday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. TU moved to 5-3 on the season, while OBU fell to 1-3-1 overall.
Anna Williams put Tulsa on the board with just 42 seconds ticked off the clock as she flicked in a combination from Ashlan Hustava to Mia Darden. Aubrey Lechlider got one back for Tulsa as she headed in a cross from Tristyn Edgar in the 64th minute. Liliana Fernandez netted the game-winner in the 79th minute as she shot from 18 yards out up the middle.
Temple 2, Wagner 1
A pair of second-half goals earned Temple a 2-1 win over Wagner Wednesday night. The Owls improved to 2-3-3 on the season, while Wagner fell to 2-6-0.
After a scoreless first half, Hailey Gutowski scored her second of the season off an assist from Gabriela Johnson. Johnson then scored her first of the year in the 58th minute to double the lead. Marissa DiGenova provided the assist.
NC State 5, ECU 2
East Carolina outshot NC State 8-4 in the second half, but fell to the Wolfpack, 5-2, Wednesday night. The loss dropped the Pirates to 3-4-1 on the season.
Jenna Dages opened the scoring for ECU in the 28th minute, while Madie Knaggs tallied a goal in the 63rd minute.
