Memphis 1, UCF 0

Memphis defeated UCF, 1-0, on the road behind a goal by Samantha Murphy in the 33rd minute. It was Murphy's fourth goal of the season. It was the seventh-consecutive shutout for the Tigers, who improved to 9-1-0 (1-0-0 American), while the Knights fell to 5-2-2 (0-1-0).

Elizabeth Moberg registered her sixth full shutout of the season, making two saves. UCF led in shots, 12-9, and had seven corners to the Tigers' one. Caroline DeLisle made three saves for the Knights.

ECU 1, UConn 0

East Carolina opened up conference play with a win on the road at UConn, 1-0. ECU improved to 4-5-1 (1-0-0 American) on the season, while UConn dropped to (4-4-1, 0-1-0). It was the first conference season-opening win for the Pirates since 2015.

Jenna Dages scored for the Pirates in the 28th minute off an assist from Daria Draovitch. UConn poured on the pressure in the second half, leading in shots 15-7 overall and 9-3 in the second frame. Melanie Stiles made three saves in a shutout for ECU, while Randi Palacios made three saves for the Huskies.

Cincinnati 2, Temple 0

Cincinnati used a pair of quick-fire second-half goals to defeat Temple, 2-0, in Philadelphia. The Bearcats imrpoved to 3-5-2 (1-0-0 American), while the Owls fell to 2-5-3 (0-1-0). 

Camryn Hartman opened the scoring for Cincinnati in the 59th minute, while Sophie Gorman followed less than two minutes later off an assist from Vanessa Dinardo. Madison Less made two saves in a shutout for the Bearcats, while Morgan Basileo recorded three saves for Temple.

USF 2, Tulsa 1 (2OT)

USF defeated Tulsa, 2-1, on a converted penalty kick by Andrea Hauksdottir with 13 seconds left in double overtime. USF improved to 6-2-0 (1-0-0 American), while Tulsa fell to (6-5-0, 0-1-0).

Tulsa opened the scoring in the third minute when Reagan Whitlow scored off assists from Liliana Fernandez and Kayla Fernandez. Aubrey Megrath answered in the 13th minute with Hauksdottir providing the assist.

Northern Arizona 3, Houston 0

Houston closed out non-conference play with a 3-0 loss at Northern Arizona on Friday night. The Cougars fell to 3-7-0 on the season.

NAU would strike first scoring early in the first frame, within the sixth minute. The Lumberjacks would extend their lead, scoring within the 35th minute followed closely by the final goal within the 37th minute.
