Highlights
 
-Houston swept both teams championships at the Lake Charles Toyota Cowboys Stampede on Saturday in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Jemal Wote paced the Cougars in the men’s four-mile run with a time of 20:07.4. G.J. Reyna clocked an eighth-place time of 20:24.4, with Devin Vallejo-Bannister ninth in 20:27.3. Darby Gaunt led the Houston women’s squad in fourth place in the 5K with a time of 18:01.6. Meredith Sorensen crossed the finish line sixth in 18:18.3.
 
-UCF raced to victory as host of the UCF Invitational on Friday night at the UCF Softball Complex. Jessica Dolan was the top individual finisher for the Knights with a time of 22:32.90 for second place in the 6K, and Jamie Tomassetti was third in 22:46.70. Charlotte Cook rounded out the top five runners for UCF with a fifth-place time of 22:54.6.
 
-Tulane posted a pair of runner-up finishes at the LSU Invitational on Friday night, with both the men’s and women’s teams scoring 60 points at the meet in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On the men’s side, Evans Kipchumba placed fifth in the 5K with a time of 15:08.41. Tom Coe placed eighth with a time of 15:18.63 for the Green Wave men. McKenzie Melius placed fourth in the women’s 5K after crossing the finish line 18:27.55, as Mary Catherine Stovall was right behind in fifth place with a time of 18:46.44 for Tulane.
 
-Wichita State sent split squads to both the Bill Dellinger Invitational in Eugene, Oregon, and the Emporia State Invitational in Emporia, Kansas, over the weekend. Winny Koskei led the Shockers to a 10th-place finish at No. 11/9 Oregon on Saturday, finishing 13th in the women’s 6k with a time of 20:14.5. Wichita State placed 11th in the men’s 8K on the strength of a 37th-place finish from Ben Flowers (24:19.2). Hope Saunders claimed a race victory for Wichita State at Emporia State, crossing the finish line in the women’s 5K with a time of 19:45.76. Asher Moen was the top men’s finisher for the Shockers in the 8K in 26th place with a time of 30:14.96.
 
-Temple finished seventh as a team at the Ohio State Buckeye Preview on Saturday in Columbus, Ohio. Grace Moore was the top finisher for Temple after crossing the line in 27th place (21:48.7), while Mille Howard took 38th place with a time of 22:04.9.
