No. RV Cincinnati (10-4, 2-0) picked up its second straight conference sweep, dispatching Wichita State (3-11, 0-2) in three sets in Wichita, Kansas. The Bearcats rolled to a 25-17, 25-12, 25-22 victory over the Shockers.
 
Cincinnati hit just under .400 for the match in finishing the contest with a team clip of .396. Jordan Thompson led the way for the Bearcats with 18 kills and six digs, while Maria Mallon chipped in 10 kills and nine digs. Armania Heckenmueller picked up her eighth 40-assist match of the year with 41 helpers.
 
Megan Taflinger guided Wichita State with 10 kills, adding three digs. McKayla Wuensch contributed 14 assists and nine digs to pace the Shockers in both categories.
 
UCF 3, Temple 0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-22)
 
UCF (9-5, 2-0) secured a second sweep in American Athletic Conference action by taking down Temple (9-4, 0-2) at The Venue in Orlando, Florida. The Knights outpointed the Owls 25-14, 25-21, 25-22.
 
The Knights were guided by McKenna Melville with 18 kills and 13 digs in the victory, and Makenzie Kuchmaner contributed a team-high 18 digs. Anne-Marie Watson added 13 kills in the win for UCF.
 
Averi Salvador notched a team-high 21 digs for Temple, while Katerina Papazoglou and Gem Grimshaw each added eight kills for the Owls.
 
Tulsa 3, East Carolina 1 (28-26, 24-26, 25-17, 25-15)
 
Tulsa (9-6, 2-0) remained unbeaten in league play to close a first weekend homestand, dropping East Carolina (12-3, 0-2) in three sets with a 28-26, 24-26, 25-17, 25-15 final score.
 
Dilara Gedikoglu continued her successful season with a team-high 18 kills for Tulsa, adding 10 digs for a double-double. Taylor Horsfall contributed a match-high 31 digs, while Maggie Hembree notched 13 kills and three digs.
 
Bri Wood guided ECU with nine kills and 11 digs, as Brandee Markwith and Shelby Martin tied for the team lead with 12 digs in defeat.
 
Tulane 3, SMU 2 (19-25, 25-19, 27-25, 17-25, 15-10)
 
Tulane (12-3, 2-0) stayed atop the West Division of The American with its second straight five-set victory, defeating SMU (7-5, 0-2) with set scores of 19-25, 25-19, 27-25, 17-25, 15-10 in New Orleans.
 
Makala Heidelberg fashioned a double-double with a team-high 15 kills and 16 digs for Tulane, while Kaylie McHugh added a match-high 24 digs. Kayla Dinkins turned in 10 kills and nine total blocks at the net for the Green Wave.
 
Mekenzi Heckmann guided the SMU offense with 20 kills, and Lily Heim logged 50 assists and 11 digs for a double-double. Montana Watts recorded a team-high 17 digs for the Mustangs.
 
Houston 3, Memphis 2 (15-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-16, 17-15)
 
Houston (8-9, 2-0) emerged as the fourth unbeaten team from the first weekend of play in The American, battling back from a deficit against Memphis (11-3, 0-2) to claim a thrilling 15-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-16, 17-15 win in Houston. It was the second straight five-set comeback for the Cougars after dropping SMU on Friday night.
 
Megan Duncan shined on offense for Houston with a match-high 25 kills and 11 digs for a double-double, while Katie Karbo contributed 26 digs. Abby Irvine fashioned a double-double of her own with 35 assists and 13 digs.
 
Sabria Cooper finished with 17 kills for Memphis, while Kaitlyn Gehler turned in a match-high 27 digs. Meredith Wallace finished the contest with 14 kills and 11 digs.
 
UConn 3, USF 0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-16)
 
UConn (7-7, 1-1) salvaged a split from its opening conference road swing with a dominant sweep of USF (7-9, 1-1) on Sunday in Tampa, Florida. The Huskies raced past the Bulls 25-17, 25-14, 25-16.
 
Caylee Parker posted a team-high 10 kills and added eight digs for UConn, with Courtney Morris leading the way for the Huskies with 34 assists and 13 digs for a double-double. Anna Petrova notched eight kills and 11 digs in the UConn win.
 
Lindsay Pliapol posted 10 kills and six digs in the loss for USF, with CC Clausen finishing with a match-high 21 digs.
