Highlights
 
-Wichita State swept both the men’s and women’s team and individual titles on Saturday at the JK Gold Classic in Wichita, Kansas. The Shockers scored 18 points to best Missouri State (39 points) on the women’s side, while the Wichita State men’s squad tallied 16 points to defeat runner-up Kansas State (47 points). Returning American Athletic Conference champion Winny Koskei earned the women’s 4K win in her season debut, logging a victorious time of 13:48.5. Rebekah Topham was the race runner-up with a time of 13:53.2, with Yazmine Wright in third place (14:04.9) and Rita Schnacker in fourth place (14:21.7) for Wichita State. Ben Flowers won the men’s 6K by crossing the finish line in 18:38.2. Jed Helker placed third with a time of 18:47.8, Cory Landon checked in fourth with a time of 18:48.8 and Adam Moore finished fifth in 18:50.2 for the Shockers.
 
-SMU claimed the Ken Garland Invitational team title on Saturday morning in Denton, Texas, powered by an individual runner-up finish from freshman Maddie Hulcy. The Mustangs claimed a two-point team win over UTA on the strength of Hulcy’s 5K time of 18:55.96. Tess Misgen placed sixth for SMU with a time of 19:14.6, followed by Charlotte Tara Murphy in seventh (19:29.1) and Olivia Lackner in eighth place (19:32.13).

-Memphis' Zachary Wyatt and Gabrielle Byndas were the men's and women's cross country top finishers, respectively, in leading the Tigers to second-place team performances in both races at the North Alabama Invitational on Saturday. Wyatt placed first in the men's 8k race in a time of 25:36.8, and Byndas was fifth in the women's 5k with a time of 18:46.2. The men's team placed second (47 points) to host North Alabama (37). The Tigers women's squad was second (58 points) to Mississippi State (47).
 
-The UConn men’s team finished as the overall runner-up of the UMass Minuteman Invitational in Amherst, Massachusetts, on the strength of a first-place result for Erik Van Der Els. The Huskies 35 points were narrowly edged out by the 33 of host UMass. Van Der Els claimed the win in the 6K with a time of 19:22.0 to finish two seconds in front of the closest competitor. Teammate Will Brisman finished fourth overall with a time of 19:31.0. UConn added a women’s runner-up result at the UMass Minuteman Invitational, placing behind Boston College in the final standings. Mia Nahom led the Huskies in sixth place with a time of 17:49.0, with Ericka Randazzo in eighth place at 17:52.0.
 
-USF earned a runner-up finish on the women’s side and a fourth-place result on the men’s side competing at the FGCU Invitational in Fort Myers, Florida. Alexandra Weir finished fifth in the women’s 5K race with a time of 19:22.19 to pace the Bulls, and Alec Latzke led the men’s side on the 8K course with a time of 27:25.64 for 13th place.
