IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors for the fourth week of the 2020 college football season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dillon Gabriel • UCF • So. • QB • Mililani, Hawaii
Gabriel earns Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week after he registered his second straight game with at least 400 passing yards to lead the Knights to a 51-28 win at East Carolina. Gabriel completed 32 of 47 passes for 408 yards and four touchdowns, becoming the first UCF player in program history with back-to-back 400-yard games. The four TD passes came as part of a string of 41 straight points for the Knights, while Gabriel set a school record with 18 consecutive completions in the second and third quarters.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jarell White • Cincinnati • Sr. • LB • Cincinnati, Ohio
White was the key player on a Cincinnati defense that held No. 22 Army, which had outscored its first two opponents 77-7, without an offensive touchdown and limited the Black Knights to 276 yards and 182 rushing yards in the Bearcats’ 24-10 win. White had a game- and career-high 15 tackles, including eight solo stops and a tackle for loss along with a quarterback hurry as Cincinnati held Army to 207.5 yards below its season rushing average.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Daniel Obarski • UCF • So. • K • Chandler, Ariz.
Obarski scored 15 points to help UCF to a 51-28 win at East Carolina in the Knights’ conference opener. Obarski went 3-for-3 on field goal attempts, making the first three attempts of his career by connecting from 26, 33 and 31 yards, and was 6-for-6 on PATs.

Rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on six carries, averaging 17.3 yards per attempt, in a 50-7 win against Stephen F. Austin.
Cameron Carroll • Tulane • So. • RB
Rushed for a career-high 163 yards and three touchdowns and had a 16-yard touchdown reception in a 66-24 win at Southern Miss. Scored at least three rushing touchdowns for the third consecutive game.
Patrick Johnson • Tulane • Sr. • DE
Had four tackles with two sacks, leading a defense that held Southern Miss to 59 total yards in the second half of a 66-24 Green Wave win.
