UCF moved into solo first place at the top of The American standings after a 3-0 road sweep at rival South Florida. The Knights defeated the Bulls by a 25-13, 25-15, 25-23 final score.
UCF hit a whopping .682 as a team with just one attack error during the first set. McKenna Melville led the Knights with 16 kills, seven digs and three block assists in the win. Anne-Marie Watson hit .500 with 10 kills and three block assists, and Amber Olson chipped in 33 assists and eight digs.
Marta Cvitkovic finished the night with seven kills, four digs and three total blocks for USF. CC Clausen led the Bulls with 11 digs.
