UCF picked up its second top-25 win in conference play in as many matches, earning a huge 2-1 road win at No. 24/14 SMU to take over the top spot in the table in The American. The Knights responded from an early deficit and dominated the run of play with a 19-11 shots edge (14-5 shots on goal) to defeat the Mustangs.
 
SMU took the lead in the 26th minute thanks to a goal from Brandon Terwege, who finished off assists from Thomas Haney and Knut Ahlander for the 1-0 lead at 25:17. Caleb Franke leveled the score for UCF at 58:56, scoring an unassisted goal for the Knights to square the contest at 1-1. Mauricio Villalobos capped the UCF comeback at 69:15, burying a shot in the top right corner to provide the Knights with the winning 2-1 margin.

No. 8/7 Tulsa kept pace with UCF in the race for the conference regular-season championship, improving to 5-1-0 in league play with a 2-1 home victory against Temple. The Golden Hurricane controlled the match by way of a 15-4 advantage in shots, 8-3 in shots on frame, and a 7-1 edge in corner kicks.
 
Alex Meinhard opened the scoring at 47:33, converting a penalty kick for Tulsa out of the halftime break for the 1-0 lead. Temple answered back almost immediately, with Spencer Patton connecting while on the run up the left flank to equalize for the Owls and tie the match at 1-1. Til Zinnhardt lifted Tulsa to the winner with a header into the net off a pass from Tom Protzek at 59:26 for the 2-1 winning score.
