IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s soccer awards for the final week of the regular season.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Grace Stordy, So., M/D, Memphis
Stordy scored a pair of goals in the Tigers’ 5-0 win over SMU. The sophomore also aided the defense in not allowing a shot on goal.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Haylee Spray, So., M/D, Memphis
Spray aided the Tiger defense in not allowing a shot on goal in a 5-0 win over SMU. The sophomore also added the game-winning goal.
 
GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Mikaela Gracia, R-Fr., Houston
Gracia recorded four saves in a 2-0 shutout win at Tulsa. The win propelled the Cougars to their best-ever finish in The American (second place).
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jocelyn Alonzo, F/M, Memphis
Alonzo scored a goal and added an assist in a 5-0 win over SMU.

DiNardo scored the opening goal in Cincinnati’s 3-1 win over UCF.

Brascia recorded the second goal in the Cougars’ 2-0 shutout on the road at Tulsa.

Wiehe scored the game-winning goal in Houston’s 2-0 win at Tulsa.
