UCF 3, Wichita State 0 (25-11, 25-14, 25-17)
UCF continued rolling with its seventh straight victory in conference play, moving to 11-1 in The American with a home sweep against Wichita State on Sunday. The Knights took the win 25-11, 25-14, 25-17.
McKenna Melville hit a blistering .667 for UCF in the victory, racking up a match-high 18 kills to go along with eight digs. Claudia Dillion chipped in eight kills on .500 hitting with six block assists and Amber Olson contributed 37 assists, six digs and three block assists for the Knights.
Natalie Foster hit .727 with eight kills to lead the way for Wichita State. Kayce Litzau added 23 assists and three digs for the Shockers.
Cincinnati 3, Memphis 2 (25-16, 19-25, 21-25, 25-20, 15-12)
Cincinnati came away from Memphis with a hard-fought five-set triumph (25-16, 19-25, 21-25, 25-20, 15-12).
Abby Walker connected on 20 kills with a .450 hitting percentage to lead the Cincinnati offense. Maria Mallon turned in an impressive 19-kill, 18-dig double-double and Emme Madden posted 53 assists and 18 digs for the Bearcats in the win.
Miaya Smith hit .484 with 17 kills, three digs and three total blocks in the Memphis defeat. Tabytha Toelke logged 12 kills and 13 digs for the Tigers.
SMU 3, East Carolina 1 (20-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-20)
SMU defended home court with a win in four sets against East Carolina. The Mustangs took the win by a 20-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-20 final score.
Kaylyn Winkler closed the match with 11 kills on .333 hitting with six blocks, and Jadyn Bauss recorded 10 kills and 18 digs. Hannah Jacobs registered a match-high 16 kills for the Mustangs.
Sydney Kleinman closed the contest with 15 kills, five digs and four total blocks for ECU. Bri Wood notched a double-double with 12 kills and 16 digs for the Pirates.
Tulane 3, Temple 2 (25-16, 22-25, 25-21, 20-25, 15-7)
Tulane won a back and forth affair in five sets at home against Temple, taking the win 25-16, 22-25, 25-21, 20-25, 15-7.
Lexie Douglas turned in a fantastic game with 27 kills on .524 hitting with eight digs to power the Tulane attack. Taylor Henigsman logged 50 assists, two service aces and 14 digs for the Green Wave and Michelle Urquhart posted 12 kills and six digs in the win.
Miray Bolukbasi went for a double-double of 19 kills and 11 digs to guide the Temple lineup.
Tulsa 3, South Florida 1 (16-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-22)
Tulsa responded from an opening set defeat to race past South Florida on the road in four sets. The Golden Hurricane emerged with a 16-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-22 win.
Aysu Dalogullari recorded a double-double of 13 kills and 12 digs in the Tulsa win. Maggie Hembree finished the match with seven kills on .583 hitting and four blocks and Avery Kalsu logged 35 assists, eight digs and three blocks.
Tizi Puljiz turned in 12 kills, nine digs and six total blocks for USF, and Marta Cvitkovic added a double-double with 10 kills and 12 digs.
