East Carolina 3, Temple 0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-16)
East Carolina evened its conference record at 3-3 with a home sweep of Temple (25-21, 25-19, 25-16).
Sydney Kleinman registered 13 kills and seven digs to go along with two service aces for ECU. Bri Wood narrowly missed a double-double with nine kills and 10 digs, and Payton Evenstad chipped in 16 assists and eight digs.
Miray Bolukbasi hit .300 with eight kills and two block assists for Temple, with Gem Grimshaw turning in seven kills and 10 digs. Taylor Davenport contributed six kills on .455 hitting for the Owls.
Houston 3, UCF 2 (18-25, 25-23, 25-20, 22-25, 15-12)
Houston knocked UCF from the ranks of the unbeaten with a huge five-set win in Orlando. The Cougars took the victory 18-25, 25-23, 25-20, 22-25, 15-12.
Abbie Jackson shined for the Cougars with 20 kills, four service aces and 11 digs in the triumph. Kennedy Warren added 12 kills and 17 digs, and Rachel Tullos hit .429 with seven kills and six total blocks. Annie Cooke logged 47 assists and 11 digs for Houston.
McKenna Melville ripped 16 kills to go with 13 digs to pace UCF. Anne-Marie Watson hit .346 with 13 kills and five block assists, and Claudia Dillion logged 10 kills and four block assists for the Knights.
Wichita State 3, Memphis 1 (25-19, 25-22, 19-25, 25-18)
Wichita State raced past Memphis in four sets to take the road victory by a 25-19, 25-22, 19-25, 25-18 final score.
Brylee Kelly and Natalie Foster guided Wichita State with 16 kills, as Foster hit an even .500 to go along with five digs. Morgan Weber recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 11 digs.
Miaya Smith finished with 15 kills and four total blocks for Memphis. Sabrina Bianco capped the match with 45 assists, three aces and 12 digs.
Tulane 3, South Florida 2 (25-19, 21-25, 25-19, 14-25, 15-12)
Tulane emerged from a road showdown at South Florida with a five-set win (25-19, 21-25, 25-19, 14-25, 15-12).
Lexie Douglas loaded the stat sheet with 21 kills on .425 hitting, 14 digs and two block assists. Kayla Dinkins chipped in 10 kills and three block assists, and Taylor Henigsman registered 47 assists and nine digs for Tulane.
Marta Cvitkovic (15 kills, 10 digs) and Tizi Puljiz (14 kills, 10 digs) each had a double-double for USF, and CC Clausen turned in a match-high 18 digs.
Tulsa 3, SMU 0 (27-25, 25-19, 25-20)
Tulsa completed a road sweep at SMU by way of a 27-25, 25-19, 25-20 final score.
Kayley Cassaday’s 12 kills powered Tulsa in the convincing win, and Maggie Hembree turned in eight kills, three digs and four block assists. Avery Kalsu finished the night with 35 assists, 12 digs and three block assists.
Hannah Jacobs paced SMU with 12 kills and two digs, Jadyn Bauss turned in eight kills and 10 digs in the setback.
