TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Jalen Cook had a game-high 21 points, but Tulane fell on the road at Florida State, 59-54. The Green Wave fell to 1-2 on the season, while the Seminoles improved to 2-1.

Cook hit four 3-pointers, while Jaylen Forbes added 15 points for the Green Wave. Caleb Mills led the Seminoles with 13 points.

Florida State led, 37-32, at halftime. The second half was a defensive clinic as the Green Wave held Florida State to 34.6 percent from the field and 0-8 from 3-point range, but Tulane shot 18.5 percent from the field in the second frame.
