UCF Ends Conference Season With 15 Straight Wins To Finish 19-1

UCF engineered the reverse sweep to erase a 2-0 deficit on the road at Houston in the regular season finale. The Knights raced into the NCAA Championship with 15 straight wins following a 19-25, 23-25, 25-19, 25-8, 15-8 victory.
 
McKenna Melville hit .318 with a match-high 28 kills, 14 digs and six blocks (one solo) for conference champion UCF. Claudia Dillon added eight kills, four block assists and five digs, and Nerissa Moravec blocked 12 total shots for the Knights.
 
Abbie Jackson delivered 23 kills and eight digs in the narrow defeat for Houston. Kennedy Warren logged 10 kills and six digs.
 
Cincinnati 3, Temple 0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-13)
 
Cincinnati closed the regular season on a four-match winning streak by sweeping Temple in Philadelphia, finishing with a 25-14, 25-19, 25-13 final score.
 
Abby Walker hit .556 with 11 kills and two digs to lead Cincinnati in the victory. Sarah Norcom added nine kills and a pair of digs, and Emme Madden chipped in 30 assists and 15 digs.
 
Miray Bolukbasi paced Temple with seven kills. Falanika Danielson led the Owls with 12 digs.
 
SMU 3, Tulsa 1 (25-18, 25-27, 28-26, 26-24)
 
SMU capped the year with its fourth straight win in conference play, taking down Tulsa in four sets. The Mustangs took the contest 25-18, 25-27, 28-26, 26-24.
 
Jadyn Bauss notched 22 kills on .327 hitting and 18 digs for SMU, and Rachel Woulfe added 18 kills while hitting .375. Bria’ Merchant paced the Mustangs with 26 digs.
 
Kayley Cassaday ended the season hitting .378 with 20 kills for Tulsa. Maggie Hembree recorded a .542 hitting percentage with 14 kills.
 
Tulane 3, South Florida 1 (25-20, 25-27, 25-23, 25-21)
 
Tulane picked up one more win on home court by taking down South Florida in four sets (25-20, 25-27, 25-23, 25-21).
 
Lexie Douglas led Tulane with 15 kills and added six digs in her final home game for the Green Wave. Michelle Urquhart contributed 14 kills and 11 digs, and Sophia Ervanian led the way for Tulane with 25 digs.
 
Marta Cvitkovic clubbed 16 kills and registered 11 digs for South Florida, and Aimee Hendricks-Walker hit .440 with 13 kills.
 
Wichita State 3, Memphis 1 (27-29, 25-14, 26-24, 25-12)
 
Wichita State earned a four-set win at home to cap the season against Memphis by a 27-29, 25-14, 26-24, 25-12 final score.
 
Natalie Foster and Brylee Kelly shared the Wichita State lead in the match with 18 kills. Kelly added three service aces, seven digs and five block assists to the stat sheet.
 
Autumn Hamilton and Tabytha Toelke each recorded 14 kills in the setback for Memphis. Miaya Smith finished with seven kills and six total blocks (one solo) for the Tigers.
