MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The SMU Mustangs won their ninth American Athletic Conference match on Wednesday to stay in third place in the league, 3-0 over Memphis.

SMU outhit Memphis .210 to .142. The Mustangs were led by Marieke van der Mark (15) and Jamison Wheeler (13), both ending with double-digit kills. Celia Cullen paced the match with 36 assists.  Tatum Ticknor led the defense with 18 digs.

For the Tigers, Tabytha Toelke had a team-high 8 kills, being paced by Loren Robertson's 27 assists. Bailey Houlihan continued her strong season with 29 digs in just three sets.
