CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Behind a strong second half, Cincinnati improved to 2-0 on the season with a 69-58 win over Cleveland State at Fifth Third Arena in the only American Athletic Conference men's basketball action on Thursday, November 10.

The two teams were separated by a point at haltime with the Bearcats leading, 30-29. In the second half, Cincinnati held Cleveland State (0-2) to 35.5 percent second-half shooting (11-31) and pulled away for the win.

David DeJulius led the Bearcats with 18 points, while Landers Nolley II had 16. Viktor Lakhin recorded his first double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Tristan Enaruna led Cleveland State with 15 points.
