East Carolina 86, Toledo 75 - Box Score
ESTERO, Fla. (AP) — Javon Small scored 24 points as East Carolina beat Toledo 86-75 on Tuesday.

Small added seven assists for the Pirates (4-1). Brandon Johnson scored 14 points while going 5 of 8 and 4 of 4 from the free throw line, and added 10 rebounds. RJ Felton recorded 14 points and was 5 of 9 shooting (4 for 6 from distance).

The Rockets (3-2) were led in scoring by JT Shumate, who finished with 25 points and two blocks. Toledo also got 21 points and four assists from Rayj Dennis. Setric Millner Jr. also had 11 points and seven rebounds.

Tulane 78, Rhode Island 75 - Box Score
GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Island (AP) — Kevin Cross’ 22 points — 16 of which were in the second half — helped Tulane defeat Rhode Island 78-75 on Tuesday night.

Brayon Freeman missed a 3-pointer with three seconds for a chance to tie for the Rams.

Cross also contributed seven assists for the Green Wave (4-1). Jaylen Forbes shot 6 for 13, including 4 for 8 from beyond the arc to add 17 points. Collin Holloway shot 4 of 6 from the field and 6 for 7 from the line to finish with 14 points.

Ishmael Leggett led the Rams (1-4) in scoring, finishing with 34 points and four assists. Brayon Freeman added 18 points and four assists for Rhode Island. In addition, Brandon Weston finished with nine points.

South Florida 75, Saint Joseph's 62 - Box Score
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- South Florida picked up its first win of the season as the Bulls defeated Saint Joseph's, 75-62, in a consolation game at the Sunshine Slam in Daytona Beach.

Selton Miguel led the Bulls (1-5) with 19 points and six assists, while Tyler Harris added 18 points.

The Bulls limited Saint Joseph's (2-3) to 31.4 percent shooting (16-51). Lynn Greer III led Saint Joseph's with 15 points.

San Francisco 67, Wichita State 63 - Box Score
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Josh Kunen scored 15 points as San Francisco beat Wichita State 67-63 on Tuesday.

Kunen added seven rebounds for the Dons (6-0). Tyrell Roberts added 13 points while shooting 5 for 12, including 2 for 8 from beyond the arc, and he also had six rebounds and seven assists. Julian Rishwain shot 4 for 9 (3 for 6 from 3-point range) and 2 of 3 from the free throw line to finish with 13 points. The Dons picked up their sixth straight win.

The Shockers (3-2) were led by Jaykwon Walton, who recorded 21 points and 10 rebounds. Craig Porter Jr. added 16 points, nine rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks for Wichita State. Gus Okafor also had 10 points and seven rebounds.

Ohio State 81, Cincinnati 53 - Box Score
LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) — Zed Key scored 19 points and Brice Sensabaugh and Bruce Thornton had 17 apiece for Ohio State, which raced past in-state rival Cincinnati 81-53 Tuesday in the loser’s bracket at the Maui Invitational.

Justice Sueing added 11 for the Buckeyes (4-1), who improved to 9-4 all-time against the Bearcats, including four straight victories. It was the teams’ first meeting since the 2019-20 season opener at Columbus.

Viktor Lakhin scored 12 for Cincinnati (3-3), which has lost three straight games.

Both teams were defeated by ranked teams in the opening round. Ohio State fell 88-77 to No. 17 San Diego State and Cincinnati lost 101-93 to No. 14 Arizona.

Cincinnati had a six-point lead in the opening two minutes but Ohio State used its size and athleticism to take control with a 38-27 halftime lead.

Richmond 61, Temple 49 - Box Score
BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Temple fell to Richmond, 61-49, in the third-place game of the Empire Classic in Brooklyn. 

Khalif Battle made his first start of the season for the Owls (2-4) and recorded a game-high 26 points, while Hysier Miller added 10 points and six assists.

Tyler Burton led the Spiders (3-3) with 18 points. Richmond shot 52.2 percent from the field in the second half (12-23) to pull away after leading, 27-21, at halftime.

Louisiana 76, SMU 72 (OT) - Box Score
DALLAS -- SMU fell to Louisiana, 76-72 in overtime, Tuesday night at Moody Coliseum. 

SMU (2-3) forced overtime when Zhuric Phelps converted a three-point play with 24 seconds to tie the game at 67. The Ragin' Cajuns (5-0) would outscore the Mustangs, 9-5, in the extra period.

SMU was led by Phelps, who had 21 points and nine rebounds, and Efe Odigie, who had a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Louisiana was led by Jordan Brown, who had a game-high 26 points.
