PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Khalif Battle’s 22 points helped Temple defeat La Salle 67-51 on Wednesday night.
Battle shot 8-for-15, including 4 for 8 from beyond the arc for the Owls (4-4). Damian Dunn scored 17 points and added six rebounds and six assists. Jamille Reynolds added 10 points.
The Explorers (3-4) were led by Khalil Brantley, who posted 14 points, nine rebounds, four assists and five steals. La Salle also got 11 points and two blocks from Rokas Jocius.
After trailing by eight at halftime, Temple outscored La Salle 46-22 in the second half. Battle’s 17-point second half helped Temple close out the 16-point victory.

CINCINNATI (AP) — David Dejulius had 22 points in Cincinnati’s 86-60 win against NJIT on Wednesday night.
Dejulius was 9 of 15 shooting (4 for 8 from distance) for the Bearcats (5-3). Landers Nolley II shot 5 for 7 (3 for 4 from 3-point range) and 5 of 8 from the free throw line to add 18 points. Mika Adams-Woods recorded 11 points and shot 4 for 8, including 1 for 5 from beyond the arc.
Adam Hess finished with 13 points for the Highlanders (1-6). Kevin Osawe added 13 points and Kjell de Graaf finished with nine points.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Kendric Davis had 18 points in Memphis’ 87-68 win over North Alabama on Wednesday night.
Davis shot 4 for 7 (2 for 3 from 3-point range) and 8 of 8 from the free throw line for the Tigers (5-2). DeAndre Williams scored 15 points while going 7 of 9 from the field. Keonte Kennedy recorded 11 points and was 5 of 14 shooting (1 for 5 from distance).
The Lions (4-4) were led by Daniel Ortiz with 16 points. KJ Johnson added 10 points and five assists for North Alabama. Dallas Howell scored eight points.
Memphis led North Alabama 46-28 at the half, with Davis scoring 13 points.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Henry Coleman III scored 12 of his 23 points in the second half when Texas A&M pulled away to beat SMU 83-64 on Wednesday night in a rare meeting between former Southwest Conference rivals.
Wade Taylor IV added 13 points and a career-high nine assists, and Julius Marble had 10 points for the Aggies (5-2), who won their third straight game.
Zhuric Phelps scored 23 points with five 3-pointers for the Mustangs (3-4). Samuell Williamson and Stefan Todorovic added 10 points each.
A three-point play by Williamson got the Mustangs within five in the second half before a 15-2 run by the Aggies. Manny Obaseki and Coleman had four points apiece in the run and Taylor capped it with a 3-pointer to lead 67-49 with 8:50 remaining. The lead grew to as many as 24.
The Aggies, after shooting just 33% in the first half, hit 50% in the second. They scored 24 points off 19 SMU turnovers, including 11 steals.
Texas A&M led 45-36 at halftime despite 17 points from Phelps. The Aggies built a 12-point lead with three minutes remaining in the half after a 16-5 run led by seven points from Coleman.
