East Carolina's Worrell, Memphis' Gartman Earn Final Regular Season Honors


IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly baseball honors for the final week of the regular season.
Bryson Worrell, Sr., OF, East Carolina
Worrell hit .462 (6-13) as the Pirates went 4-0 last week, including a sweep of Houston. The senior recorded two runs, one double, one home run and three runs batted in. He had at least one hit in each game against the Cougars.
Landon Gartman, Fr., Memphis
Gartman earned the win in the series-opening win over Tulane on Thursday. He struck out 10 Green Wave batters in five innings, allowing one hit, one run and faced only one batter over the minimum.
Ben McCabe, R-Jr., C, UCF
McCabe hit a home run in three-straight games against Cincinnati, going .538 (7-13) with nine runs batted in.
Cole Harting, So., OF, Cincinnati
Harting went .368 (7-19) with three runs scored, two doubles, one home run and six RBI as the Bearcats earned a series win against UCF.
Braden Webb, So., INF, Memphis
Webb helped lead the Tigers to a series win at Tulane by hitting .455 (5-11) with two runs scored, one home run and pair of runs batted in.
Drew Brutcher, So., OF, South Florida
Brutcher hit a pair of clutch home runs against Wichita State as the Bulls won the series. The sophomore hit a 3-run go-ahead home run on Thursday and hit the walk-off long ball in Saturday’s second game.
Chuck Ingram, So., OF, Wichita State
Ingram hit .381 (8-21) with seven runs scored, two doubles, one home run and four RBI last week.
