SMU 3, Memphis 1 – Box Score
 
Dallas, Texas – The SMU volleyball team defeated Memphis in American Athletic Conference action on Wednesday afternoon 3-1. The Mustangs took the matinee match 19-25, 25-17, 25-13, 26-24.  With the win, SMU improves to 9-6 over all and 2-1 in The American. Memphis falls to 11-5 and 1-2 in The American.
 
SMU was led on offense by Jamison Wheeler (15), Marieke van der Mark (14) and Jadyn Bauss (13) who all finished with double-digit kills.  Celia Cullen paced the match with 44 assists. Defensively, Tatum Ticknor and Jadyn Bauss each finished with 18 digs, while Alex Glover had five blocks.
 
For the Tigers, Jasmyn Tate (13) and Kate Bass (12) led the team in kills. Loren Robertson paced Memphis with 36 assists.  Bailey Houlihan finished with 28 digs, while Autumn Hamilton and Miaya Smith each ended with three blocks.
