The Memphis Tigers and SMU Mustangs both picked up three points on Saturday to improve their conference standings.  Memphis earned a 3-1 road win over UAB to improve to 2-3 in American Athletic Conference action, while SMU moved to 4-0-1 with a 3-0 home win over Florida Atlantic. The win by the Mustangs moved them into a second place tie with FIU with 13 points, while Charlotte sits in first place with 15 points anda 5-1 record in The American with two matches remaining for the 49ers.

Non-conference action will pick back up on Tuesday when Temple, FIU and South Florida all hitting the road.  Temple will take on Stony brook at 6:30 p.m. ET, while FIU will travel to FGCU and South Florida will head to Stetson.
