Three road teams picked up conference sweeps on Saturday in American volleyball action, as East Carolina, Wichita State and SMU all came away victorious. Memphis was the lone team to defend their home court, sweeping UAB in Memphis.  SMU and Wichita State both sit with just one loss in conference play this season, while East Carolina sits atop the East Division with a 7-2 record. The Shockers are riding a five-match winning streak, while the Pirates and Mustangs have both won four in a row.
