Charlotte's Scudder Finishes As All-American at NCAA Championship

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Charlotte 49ers senior Nick Scudder became the 14th American Athletic Conference cross country runner to earn All-American status, as he finished in 30th place at the NCAA Cross Country Championship on Saturday morning. 

Three weeks after winning The American individual championship, Scudder became the second 49er to earn All-American honors as he finished in 30th place with a time of 29:38.6 in the men's 10,000 meter race.

Three other American Atheltic Conference cross country athletes competed in Charlottesville as Tulane's Jack Jennings (30:05.1) finished in 54th place, while teammate Bradley Makuvire (30:24.0) finished in 82nd place, and North Texas' Victor Neiva (31:16.2) finished in 169th place.
