Florida Atlantic 50, Stetson 39
A record-setting fourth-quarter defensive performance powered the Florida Atlantic Owls (3-1) to their third-straight win, defeating the Stetson Hatters (1-4) 50-39 on Monday evening at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.

The Owls' defense was absolutely suffocating in the fourth quarter, keeping the Hatters scoreless for nearly 10 minutes of play. Florida Atlantic scored 20 unanswered from the 0:31 mark of the third quarter through the 1:32-minute mark of the fourth to take a 50-37 lead. The Hatters finally scored at the 1:09-minute mark, but it was too little too late as the Owls secured the 11-point win, 50-39.

Wichita State 92, Omaha 86
Three Shockers scored career highs en route to Wichita State's 92-86 victory over Omaha Monday evening in Charles Koch Arena.
 
Freshman Salese Blow led the scoring with a career-high 19 points, while sophomore Daniela Abies put up a career-high 18 points and 8 rebounds, and junior Ornella Niankan tallied a career-high 16 points with 5 rebounds and a career-high 5 assists.

Texas Tech 63, UTSA 58
The UTSA women's basketball team dropped a 63-58 decision to Texas Tech on Monday night despite outshooting, outrebounding, and outblocking their Big 12 opponents inside of United Supermarkets Arena. 

The Roadrunners (3-2) suffered a loss to the Lady Raiders (5-0) as the 'Runners shot 45% from the field to TTU's 34%. UTSA logged 13 more rebounds and blocked four more shots than the opposition. Free throws, however, were the difference-maker as Tech went 14-for-21 at the charity stripe, sinking six more freebies than the Roadrunners. 

Sophomore Sidney Love scored in double-figures for the third consecutive contest, this time tying for the game lead at 18/ Aiding in the scoring, senior Kyra White dropped 13 points, and freshman Aysia Proctor 10. White also hauled in eight rebounds to match classmate Elyssa Coleman for the game's lead and recorded three assists for the most on the team. 


Middle Tennessee 64, Memphis 57
The University of Memphis women's basketball team played in its final game of the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis tournament Monday night. Looking at a rematch with Middle Tennessee, the Tigers battled until the very end but came up just short and suffered the 52-43 loss.

Kai Carter and Madison Griggs led the team in scoring with 16 and 15 points, respectively, while Jana Sallman came off the bench for seven points, 10 rebounds and four blocks.

No. 15/10 Ohio State 79, East Carolina 55
The East Carolina women's basketball team fell to the No. 15/10 Ohio State Buckeyes, 79-55, on Monday afternoon in their first game of the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Invitational. The Pirates battled hard, staying within striking distance into the third quarter before Ohio State was able to pull away.
