South Florida 61, High Point 32
South Florida women's basketball (5-1) shut down High Point (3-2), 61-32, in the first day of Paradise Jam action in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands on Thursday night.
 
USF held the Panthers to a .190 shooting clip on the day. The 32 points allowed by the defense marked the least points allowed by the Bulls in a game since January 2022.
 
Emma Johansson led South Florida by matching a personal-best 12 points, while she grabbed seven boards and had a pair of blocks. Evelien Lutje Schipholt followed with a season-high 11 points and five rebounds. Carla Brito rounded out the top-scoring Bulls with nine points and seven rebounds in the contest.

Seton Hall 68, East Carolina 57
The East Carolina women's basketball team dropped a tough contest to the Seton Hall Pirates, 68-57, on Wednesday in their final contest of the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Invitational. The teams played relatively even for the majority of the game, but a crushing first-half run by Seton Hall in the first half proved consequential to the final score.


Saint Joseph's 67, Temple 65
The Temple women's basketball team (2-4), fell to the Saint Joseph's Hawks (5-0) 67-65 in overtime. The Owls overcame a 17-point deficit and forced overtime behind a career night from freshman Tristen Taylor (21 points, 7 rebounds) and strong showings from Aleah Nelson (16 points, 8 assists) and Rayne Tucker (10 points, 12 rebounds).


Southern Illinois 55, Charlotte 52
The Charlotte women's basketball team suffered a heart-breaking 55-52 loss to Southern Illinois on Thursday (Nov. 23) to start day one of the Discover Puerto Rico Shootout.

Lawrence continued to carry the load offensively for the Niners as she scored 12 of the team's 14 points in the second quarter of play. Dazia applied pressure on the SIU defense by attacking the basket and getting to the free throw line. In her 34 minutes on the court, Lawrence made all 13 of her free throw attempts totaling her season high of 32 points on 9-for-14 shooting. She scored 32 of the team's 52 points, while the rest of the team combined to shoot 7-for-24 (29%).
