UTSA 90, Incarnate Word 80 - Box Score
SAN ANTONIO (AP) Adante' Holiman had 21 points in UTSA's 90-80 victory over Incarnate Word on Saturday night.
Holiman added six rebounds for the Roadrunners (3-4). PJ Carter scored 17 points while shooting 7 for 14, including 2 for 5 from beyond the arc. Carlton Linguard had 16 points and shot 3 for 7 (1 for 3 from 3-point range) and 9 of 12 from the free-throw line.
Sky Wicks led the Cardinals (3-3) in scoring, finishing with 24 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and four steals. Josh Morgan added 16 points and two steals for Incarnate Word. Dylan Hayman also had 13 points, two steals and three blocks.
UAB 92, Furman 86 - Box Score
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) Yaxel Lendeborg's 19 points helped UAB defeat Furman 92-86 on Saturday night.
Lendeborg added 10 rebounds and five blocks for the Blazers (4-2). Javian Davis scored 17 points and added six rebounds. Eric Gaines finished with 13 points.
Marcus Foster led the way for the Paladins (3-3) with 27 points and two steals. Pjay Smith Jr. added 15 points for Furman. In addition, Tyrese Hughey finished with 14 points.
Charlotte 65, Georgia State 57 - Box Score
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) Lu'Cye Patterson's 23 points helped Charlotte defeat Georgia State 65-57 on Saturday night.
Patterson shot 7 of 12 from the field and 8 for 10 from the line for the 49ers (4-2). Dishon Jackson scored 12 points while going 6 of 8 and 0 of 3 from the free-throw line, and added nine rebounds. Nik Graves had 11 points and was 1-of-4 shooting and 9 of 10 from the free-throw line.
Toneari Lane led the way for the Panthers (3-3) with 12 points. Jay'Den Turner added 11 points, nine rebounds and two steals for Georgia State. In addition, Leslie Nkereuwem finished with nine points and 11 rebounds.
Wichita State 80, Norfolk State 67 - Box Score
WICHITA, Kan. (AP) Kenny Pohto's 25 points helped Wichita State defeat Norfolk State 80-67 on Saturday night.
Pohto also contributed six rebounds and five assists for the Shockers (6-1). Harlond Beverly added 13 points while going 4 of 7 from the floor, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and 4 for 6 from the line, and he also had five rebounds and eight assists. Quincy Ballard had 13 points and finished 6 of 7 from the floor.
Jamarii Thomas led the way for the Spartans (4-3) with 17 points, five assists and three steals. Allen Betrand added 15 points and two steals for Norfolk State. In addition, Terrance Jones finished with eight points.
George Mason 81, East Carolina 59 - Box Score
FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) Darius Maddox scored 19 points as George Mason beat East Carolina 81-59 on Saturday.
Maddox shot 7 for 14 (3 for 7 from 3-point range) and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line for the Patriots (5-1). Keyshawn Hall scored 17 points and added 10 rebounds. Ronald Polite finished with 11 points.
The Pirates (4-3) were led by Brandon Johnson, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds. East Carolina also got 13 points from Quentin Diboundje. In addition, Ezra Ausar had 10 points.
Little Rock 84, Tulsa 82 (OT) - Box Score
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) Jamir Chaplin scored 27 points as Little Rock beat Tulsa 84-82 in overtime on Saturday night.
Chaplin also had 15 rebounds for the Trojans (2-4). Bradley Douglas scored 13 points while going 5 of 19 from the floor, including 2 for 8 from 3-point range, and 1 for 3 from the line, and added six rebounds and six assists. Deantoni Gordon had 13 points and shot 5 of 13 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line.
The Golden Hurricane (4-1) were led in scoring by Tyshawn Archie, who finished with 17 points. Cobe Williams added 16 points for Tulsa. Carlous Williams also had 11 points - including a jumper from the left wing as time expired in regulation to force overtime - and eight rebounds.
