IRVING, Texas – No. 8 Memphis has been selected as a No. 6 seed for the 2023 NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Championship.

Memphis (18-1-0), the 2023 American Athletic Conference Championship winner, will host LSU (8-7-4) on Saturday, November 11 at 8 p.m. Eastern. The winner will take on the winner of Valparaiso (11-5-6) and No. 3 seed Notre Dame (11-3-4) in the Second Round.
 
The Tigers are making their sixth consecutive NCAA Championship and 12^th trip overall. Last year, Memphis defeated No. 2 seed Saint Louis and No. 7 seed Mississippi State before falling to No. 3 seed Arkansas in the Third Round.
