Tulsa 60, Central Arkansas 58
Madi Cartwright scored the game-winning three-pointer as Tulsa overcame an eight-point deficit for a 60-58 victory over the Central Arkansas Sugar Bears Tuesday night in front of 2,822 fans at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
 
The freshman hit two treys in the final 4:05, the first erasing a two-point deficit and the next giving the Hurricane a four-point lead. Her third three-pointer of the game put Tulsa ahead 57-56 and her next three-pointer gave the Hurricane a 60-56 lead with 2:59 remaining.
 
With the win, Tulsa snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 6-3, while UCA fell to 5-4 on the season.
 
Temira Poindexter led all scorers with 22 points, while Cartwright finished with 12 with those two treys accounting for all of her second-half points. Poindexter added 10 rebounds for her first double-double of the season.

Florida Atlantic 78, St. Thomas 60
The Florida Atlantic Owls (4-3) rolled to a 78-60 win over the St. Thomas Bobcats (5-2) on Tuesday evening at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.

Alexa Zaph, Janeta Rozentale, and Jada Moore rounded out the Owls' double-digit performers with 15, 14, and 13 points, respectively. Moore tallied a team-leading eight rebounds, while also dishing out a pair of assists. Devyn Scott spread out a team-best six assists, and Rozentale led the team with three steals in the win. As a team, the Owls shot 43.8 percent from the field, 44 percent from 3-point range, and 78.6 percent from the line.
