The Charlotte women's basketball team picked up an impressive 69-58 win on the road Thursday night (Dec. 7) over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
Four Charlotte players finished in double figures with Tracey Hueston headlining the effort offensively with 21 points. Olivia Porter (11), Imani Smith (10), and Keanna Rembert (10) all reached double figures as well and had timely baskets to fuel the win. Hueston, Rembert, Smith, and Jacee Busick all had two steals while Charlotte finished with 13 points off turnovers.
Charlotte outrebounded Wake Forest 33 to 25, including 10 of those rebounds being offensive. 17 of the 26 made shots for CLT were assisted on with Olivia Porter having a team-high six assists. The Niners shot 47.5% from the floor (26-55) and 91.7% from the free throw line (11-12).
