TULSA, Okla. -- East Carolina went on the road to defeat Tulsa, 62-60, in the lone American Athletic Conference men's basketball game on Feb. 21.

The Pirates (14-13, 5-9 American Athletic Conference), who were down by as many as 11 in the first half, took the lead for good with 5:40 remaining in the second. After Tulsa (5-22, 1-15) pulled within one with with seven seconds left, ECU's Ezra Ausar made 1-of-2 free throws, but the Golden Hurricane were unable to get a shot off before time expired.

Jaden Walker led all scorers with 24 points for the Pirates, while RJ Felton added 14 points and nine rebounds.

Brandon Betson led Tulsa with 20 points.
