The opening weekend of the 2023 volleyball season wrapped up on Sunday with teams from the American taking home a pair of wins.  Temple completed their weekend with a third sweep, this time over Lehigh 3-0.  UAB ended the weekend on a high-note, taking Florida A&M to the limit in five sets to pull out a 3-2 victory as four Blazers finished with double-digit kills on the night.

The volleyball season will resume on Monday, August 28 as Florida Atlantic travels south to Miami to take on the Hurricane at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+.  On Tuesday, August 29, Temple will host Delaware State at 6 p.m. ET, while Rice host Louisiana and North Texas hosts Texas Southern, both beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
