Four American volleyball squads were in action on Monday and Tuesday, with Temple and North Texas both earning sweeps in their matches. Temple moved to 4-0 on the season with the victory over Delaware State, with each win coming through a sweep.  American Offensive Player of the Week finished with 12 kills, while Avery Luoma had 11 kills in the win.

North Texas improves to 3-1 with a win over Texas Southern.  The Mean Green hit .507 as a team and held the Tigers to .000 on the match, including negative hitting percentages in the first and third sets. Treyaunna Rush finished with 12 kills while hitting .444 in the match.
