The Charlotte 49ers and South Florida Bulls ended the week with wins in men's soccer. Charlotte took down UAB to begin The American conference slate of games 3-0 in Birmingham. Brigham Larsen had a brace, while assisting on the third goal for Charlotte. The Blazers were held without a shot on goal. The Bulls scored two goals in the final 15 minutes of play, both coming off the foot of Jalen Anderson and assisted by Ajmeer Spengler. Anderson's second goal came at the 81st minute to win the game.
Teams will be back in action for non-conference play on Tuesday, September 19. Temple and Florida Atlantic will be on the road with 6 p.m. ET kickoffs, while Tulsa will host Creighton at 8 p.m. ET.
