IRVING, Texas – American Athletic Conference Commissioner Mike Aresco has issued the following statement on the passing of Temple University Acting President JoAnne Epps.
 

We are profoundly saddened to learn of the passing of JoAnne Epps. JoAnne was a thoughtful advocate for Temple University and its students during her decades of service and had recently become a valued member of the  American Athletic Conference Board of Directors. We will miss her insight, experience and perspective as well as her kindness and collaborative spirit.
 
We extend our heartfelt sympathy and deepest condolences to JoAnne’s family, friends and colleagues and to the Temple community.
