Rice and SMU volleyball improved to 4-0 in American Athletic Conference action to remain the only two unbeaten teams in the league after SMU handed Wichita State their first loss of the season in a sweep. Rice took down UTSA 3-0 in Houston. East Carolina and South Florida both improved to 3-1 in the East Division as the Pirates and Bulls sit atop the standings.
