North Texas and Wichita State both won on Thursday, November 28 to advance to tourament finals. Wichita State defeated Minnesota, 68-66 in overtime, to advance to the final of the ESPN Events Invitational, while North Texas took down Northern Iowa, 68-48, in the NIT Preseason Tip-Off.
