UAB and Temple women's basketball teams both earned wins on Sunday to wrap up the week on positive notes. The Blazers took down Southern Miss for a home win, while the Owls defeated LaSalle in a cross-city rivalry. UAB won 87-66 and was led by four different players reaching double-figures, including Maddie Walsh's 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting. The Owls picked up a 73-68 victory and were led by Kaylah Turner's 17 points.

American women's hoops will continue on Monday, December 2 when Wichita State hosts Prairie View.
