MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis guard Tyrese Hunter has been to the Oscar Robertson Trophy National Players of the Week list.
 
Hunter, a senior out of Racine, Wisc., had a monster week for the Tigers after averaging 20.0 points at the Maui Invitational while going 19-for-38 from the field (.500). The 6-0 guard stunned the basketball world when he got hot from behind the arc, shooting 7-for-10 against then No. 2 UConn and 14-for-24 (.583) for the tournament. Hunter was named to the Maui Invitational All-Tournament Team and was The American's Player of the Week.
 
Along with Hunter on the list is Johni Broome (Auburn), Chucky Hepburn (Louisville), Trey Kaufman-Renn (Purdue) and Javon Small (West Virginia).
