IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly women’s lacrosse honors for the week-ending March 24.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE ATTACK PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Danielle Pavinelli • Sr. • Florida • Northport, N.Y.
Pavinelli scored a combined four goals with six assists in Florida's 2-0 week as the Gators extended their winning streak to nine games. She had four assists with a ground ball in a 23-7 win against Furman, while she had four goals and two assists in a 19-4 victory against Old Dominion. Pavinelli improved her 2024 totals to 23 goals and 20 assists, giving her a third consecutive 20-20 season.

Paisley Eagan • Gr. • Florida • Wilton, Conn.
Eagan registered five goals with an assist, a ground ball, a draw control and a caused turnover to help Florida to two wins. She scored four goals and had an assist - all in the first half - to lead the Gators to a 23-7 win against Furman, while she added a goal as part of the Gators' 19-4 victory against Old Dominion in their conference opener.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Maddie Barber • Jr. • Temple • Severn, Md.
Barber had game highs with five ground balls and three caused turnovers to go with four draw controls in a 13-8 win at East Carolina, lifting the Owls to 2-0 in the American Athletic Conference. Barber also had a goal and an assist in the first quarter to help Temple build a 5-1 lead after 15 minutes. Barber ranks second in The American in caused turnovers (21) and is third in ground balls (30).
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Taylor Grollman • Gr. • Temple • Severn, Md.
Grollman anchored Temple's 13-8 win at East Carolina as she made nine saves and allowed eight goals. She made five stops in the first half as the Owls built a 10-3 halftime lead, while she made four second-half saves to deny the Pirates down the stretch. Grollman leads The American with a .512 save percentage, while she is second in the league with an 8.21 goals-against average.

Ava Bleckley • D • Fr. • James Madison • Newtown Square, Pa.
Bleckley helped James Madison to a 1-1 week as the Dukes dropped a 12-8 decision to No. 9 Virginia before answering with a 19-8 win against Cincinnati to improve to 2-0 in The American. Bleckley had two ground balls and a caused turnover against the Cavaliers and added three ground balls, two draw controls and a game-high four caused turnovers against the Bearcats.
