UAB, Charlotte, UTSA Earn Weekly Honors

IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the weekly women’s soccer honors for the sixth week of the season.
 
Offensive Player of the Week
Tyler Coker, So., F, UTSA
Coker helped lead the Roadrunners to a 2-0 win at East Carolina on Thursday with a goal and an assist. She also provided an assist on UTSA’s lone goal in a 1-1 draw with Abilene Christian on Sunday.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Sasjah Dade, Sr., D, UTSA
Dade led the Roadrunner defense to only one goal allowed in two matches, including a clean sheet in a 2-0 win at East Carolina. She also scored against the Pirates.
 
Goalkeeper of the Week
Anika Toth, Gr., UAB
Toth recorded seven saves in a scoreless draw with No. 15 Memphis Thursday night in Birmingham, Ala.
 
Freshman of the Week
Grace Keighley, M/F, Charlotte
Keighley scored the 49ers’ lone goal against Florida Atlantic Thursday night in Boca Raton, Fla.
 
Honorable Mention
Daniella Diaz, Jr., D, Florida Atlantic
Diaz and the Owl defense only allowed two shots on goal and the junior scored the game-winning goal in the 23rd minute of a 2-1 victory over Charlotte on Thursday.
 
Emmy Schleifer, Sr., M, Florida Atlantic
Schleifer scored the first goal for the Owls in a 2-1 win over Charlotte on Thursday.
 
Maddie Ogden, Gr., GK, North Texas
Odgen made one save in a 3-1 win over Tulsa, but also scored off a free kick from near midfield.
 
Micahela Hill, So., M, South Florida
Hill scored a goal for the Bulls in a 2-1 win over Rice on Thursday night in Tampa.
 
Sadie Sider-Echenberg, Jr., M, South Florida
Sider-Echenberg scored the game-wining goal in the 15th minute in a 2-1 win over Rice.
