The Charlotte 49ers, ranked No. 9 in the nation, earned a 4-1 victory over visiting South Florida Friday (Sep. 27) evening in American Athletic Conference action.
The Niners, who improved to 6-0-2 and recorded their first eight-game unbeaten streak since 2019, have now won 11 straight matches at home, the longest streak in the country.
Charlotte recorded a season-high 27 shot attempts, the most since Aug. 29, 2022. The 49ers put 12 shots on goal, which is another season high. Elias Arsvoll and Chris Dommer left the field with a team-high three points (one goal, one assist) each while Daniel Moore recorded two assists in tonight's win. Natsuki Ogata and Jaedon Richardson also got in on the scoring fest. The Niners scored four goals in league play for the first time since Nov. 2, 2022.
